 The Savio filter system mimics the natural filtration processes in a living pond. A built-in settling chamber with a 1-½ inch bottom drain collects solids before they pass through the media.
The main filter chamber is loaded with easy-to-clean, non-clogging SAVIO Springflo Bio Filter Media. SAVIO Springflo effectively removes solids from the water column and provides maximum surface area for the beneficial bacteria that render toxins inert and break down organic waste.
A final micro-filtration phase "polishes" the water to produce cleaner, healthier looking water. The filter housing is injection molded, super tough, and non-collapsing.
The Versatile filter can have a flow rate of up to 3,000 gallons per hour while the Waterfall filter can have a flow rate up to 5,000 gallons per hour. Both filters are good for ponds of 5,000 gallons with the option of running more filters if needed.
