There are significant dollars to be saved! The Econo-Bead filter is fully ungradable with the basic design of the Hydrabead filter, but without all the bells and whistles. They come standard with a 2 inch slide valve and the new Water Miser Sludge drain.

The 2 inch valve allows high flows with little head pressure and the Water Miser Sludge Drain allows for an effective low volume drainage break up of the bead pack. The tank of the Econo-bead filter is easily opened allowing unparalleled access to the internals and the bead pack. Fluidart Technologies highly recommends the use of a blower on a bead filter and the advantages that a multiport valve offers.
All filters need to be serviced occasionally and you'll be happy you chose the Econo-bead when that time comes. The Econo-bead tank opens completely so access to the internals is a breeze. Utilizing beads that are smaller than some other bead filters use (500-550 sq. ft. per cu. ft.) allows us to have a greater surface area per cubic foot.
